We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas:) We have had such a busy and fun filled month. We started Elf on the Shelf this year. My girls love it. They wake up every morning asking where Simon(our Elf) ? It;s so fun to do. We went to Temple Square to see the lights this year. It was the first time we have taking the girls. It was so fun they loved it. We have had a family party and Santa came. I was so pround of Adalyn. She did not like Santa at the mall. He only got a high five and bones. But she actually sat on his lap at the party :)

Christmas is so fun this year.Kenna is so into Santa and of course Addi is right there getting just as excited. Also Brandon turned the big 3-0 this last week. It was a fun day. We went to see The Muppets and went out for Chinese. We have been so blessed this year and are so greatful for our friends and family. Happy Holidays !!

So every year I go to Gardner Village with my sister and my mom. It was so fun my girls always look forward to the Withches.

We went camping over conference weekend one last time for the year. It was so fun. The leaves were all changing colors. So Brandon and I went up on top of the mountain it was amazing:)

Computer died

So our lovely computer got a virus again and is not working now. So for the few people that do read my blog you will have to check my facebook for awhile till we get our computer fixed. I know I haven't updated in awhile. We have been super busy getting ready for Halloween :) Its our favorite Holiday. I just finished the girls costumes. They are going to be witches. I'm so excited because Kenna has been a princess the pass two years.
Also this month I turned 30 yrs old! I know I know I'm getting up there. My mother in law got me tickets to Thriller. So Brandon and I had a fun date yesterday and went to lunch and to Thriller. I loved it! It made me miss dance a lot and wished I had the body of a dancer again. I also got some cute decor for my house and my cute neighbors both bought me Golden Spoon ( it's my favorite) and some flowers. I have so many sweet friends that remember my birthday. Thank you! We are so excited for Halloween so check out facebook for some pictures.

So summer is over and we are back into the swing of things. Kenna is in school and dance. She loves school and wants to go everyday. Adalyn wishes so bad she was old enough to go to school and dance. She always says," I'm too little I can't go to preschool." This past week they both got sick, but they are on the mend.
So I have not had the best attitude lately. It's hard being a mom and trying to stay in tune with the spirit. I am so grateful for my little princess' that remind me every night to read scripture and pray, even though sometimes I am so tired and done for the day. I am so thankful for my little family.
I also want to thank my friends in my ward. I have met so many amazing people in this ward. Last night I went to book club. Don't worry I just went to socialize. Read a book, me? I did just finish the first Hunger Games it only took me 6 months:) I love all the ladies that where there. It was so fun.
I'm just feeling thankful for all the many blessings in my life and wanted to share. And I have to say that I am so grateful for the knowledge of the gospel. I don't know where I would be without it.

Anniversary week

Brandon and I have been celebrating our anniversary all week.It's not till Monday August 15th but he has had the whole week off. He has planned everything. It started on Sunday I went a scavenger hunt. It was so cute and we ended at his mom's house. There was a envelope which had a fake ticket to Canada.(that's where we went on our honeymoon) On the ticket there were hints to what we were doing the next day. We went to Red Butte Garden because in Canada we went to Bush Art Gardens. It was so fun. The Children Garden was my favorite part. My girls were in heaven. Then that night he picked up Olive Garden and we had a candle light dinner. And that was remembering the first year we were married it snowed so much a tree fell on our street and we couldn't get our cars out. So we walked in the snow to Olive Garden.

He also cooked every meal. Here are some pictures of our fun food we had this week....

Day Two: Kenna had school in the morning so we picked her up and went downtown to Disney Days. It was fun and free !!! The girls went to the petting zoo,bouncy house, and made a craft. It was fun. Then that night we went to a movie. Brandon had babysitters every night. It was so nice :)

Day Three: Breakfast was so fun. We went had breakfast with the characters like at Disneyland but we had all the girls stuffed animals in the kitchen. Then that afternoon we dropped the girls off with Brandon's mom. Then we went to the disney store and took a nap. It was so nice to hang out with no kids. That night we went and saw Tangled in the park. It was a perfect day.

Day Four: We went up to Kaysville to see our friends. They watched the girls and Brandon and I went to boondocks. I just have to say I was kickin' butt at mini golf. Then I totally lost it I blame the heat. Then we had a fun Nacho dinner with all our friends.

Day Five: ZOO DAY!!! Kenna has been dying to go see the dinosaur at the zoo. She was a little scared at first but then she loved them. It was so fun I love zoo:)Then we came home and took naps. The girls went to grandma and grandpa's for a sleepover. Brandon and I wen to Cafe' Rio and then we cam home and relaxed. It's so nice to get a good night's rest.

Saturday we woke up and met my parents and the girls at a hot air balloon festival. It was so fun and the girls loved it.

The rest weekend was nice and relaxing. I am so grateful for my wonderful husband. He is such an awesome dad and works so hard for our family. Happy Anniversary babe! The best eight years ever and I can't wait to spend many more anniversary with you.

Summer Update

Time for a update....
My sister had her baby July 5 2011. They named him Tyson Benjamin Harvey. He is so cute he was 8lbs 12oz and 22 inches. He was one once bigger than Kenna was. We love baby Tyson.

Kenna learned how to ride a bike. Grandpa bought her a helmet and helped her. She is awesome now she loves it.

We went to see the float for the Days of 47 Parade. As most of you know we are huge U Fans. Kenna saw this and started yelling "Utah Utah Utah" It was so funny.

We went camping this last weekend with my family. It was so much fun. We went up to Soapstone Basin. We took our getto van and slept in it. It was awesome. I must admit that I am liking the van more and more. My sister and her husband came with baby Tyson. It was so fun but its so nice to come home to my bed. Here are some pictures....

Girls love the 4 wheelers. We were all them all the time. There were some sheep up there so we would chase the sheep with 4 wheelers. It was a good time.

These were the wild flowers that were up there. They were so pretty. We had so fun. Now we are back to reality. Kenna starts school tomorrow and Brandon goes back to work.

July 4th weekend !

We had a fun filled weekend. On Saturday we went up to the Farming ton Parade and went with my sister and her husband. It was HOT !!! It was a lot of fun and Kenna loved running to get the candy this year. And yes I was totally one of those moms that got mad at the older kids for not letting the little kids get candy. Man I'm getting old :( Adalyn was into it as well she was dancing and kept getting too close to the floats. Then we had a brunch at my sister house. It was fun.

Then Sunday we had a baby blessing and then a party for my mom's birthday. It was a busy Sunday, but we did fireworks with my family that night. Kenna loves fireworks!!! She wanted to light them and be so close. I was a nervous wreck trying to keep them safe.

Then on the real holiday we went up to Fruit Heights to our friends house and had a BBQ. And did more fire works. It was a great weekend but I am so tired. I'm done with the 4Th of July.:)

We Love Summer

Yay we are so excited that summer is here! We play outside all the time. We swim almost everyday. Our neighbors have a little pool they get out and we have a lady bug sprinkler thing that they run through. They love we have also been to the splash park a few times.I love it because it wear them out and they sleep so good at night:)

Another thing I love about summer is frozen yogurt. I am totally addicted to Golden Spoon. I love it I go at least every other day. I just can't get enough :)

This weekend we went to a event at Draper Park for my neighbors work. It was so fun. They had the big bouncy slides,face painting,a sand box where you find treasure,balloon tying, and cotton candy and snow cones. It was so fun and they girls loved it. Adalyn loved the bouncy slides.....

She wore her self out. She was so tired she would go to go up the slide and stop for a min and put her head down and then she was off to the top.

Last night we had our friends over for a BBQ. We made the best dinner. We had hamburgers with pineapple and BBQ sauce, sweet potato fries, watermelon, and homemade lemonade. For dessert I made home made cherry chocolate ice cream and it was so good.( sorry I should have taken some pictures) I got this recipe book for mothers day. all the recipes are from this book. It's called "Our Best Bites" Mormon moms in the kitchen. Seriously everything I have cooked from it has been so good. I love cooking ! I wish i had a bigger kitchen so I could buy all the fancy fun tools to use :)

I can't believe the 4th of July is so soon. This summer is going too fast. This next weekend is my moms b day and then the 4th of July. Kenna starts swimming lesson on July 5. She is so excited. And hopefully I will be an Aunt by July 9 th. My sister is so close to having her baby boy anytime :) busy busy summer I love it.

I am always amazed at how fast time flies. Here's a little update on us. For Memorial weekend we went camping with my family down to Temple Mtn. It was so fun and hot which I loved the first day. It was so fun and my girls love camping. Kenna fell and skinned her nose, forehead, and knee the first 5 minutes we were there. Adalyn sat on the 4 wheeler most the time. They both learned how to push the gas on the 4 wheelers so we had fun little races. We stayed in our tent which we haven't used since we have had kids. They loved it and thought it was so cool. We went hiking at a place called Goblin Valley. They had all these rock formations that were so different. It was like we were on another planet. I didn't know my girls were hikers but they had so much fun.

SO we camped between these two huge cliffs. So Brandon and I took off and went hiking. These rocks had huge like caves almost in them. It was fun to just go act like a kid :)

That's me you can see our camp behind me. SO grateful we can go with my family so we can use their trailer. (bathroom, shower, microwave, and TV) That's how we roll !!

This past weekend I threw my little sister a baby shower. I decided to get creative with her gift and made her this...

This cute diaper cake was so easy and so fun to so. I love being crafty when i have the time. Then I had so many diaper left over I decided to make this....

This diaper wreath took a little more time but turned out super cute.
I made a lot of desserts too.I felt like Rachel Ray last week with all the baking and crafts. haha So that's the update. We are so excited to play in the warm weather. Kenna has been planning our summer: swimming, zoo,camping, and more swimming. So i guess I will be a the splash park a lot this summer :)

Adalyn's Birthday/ Easter

Man we have a busy couple of weeks. It has been so fun though. First of all our little Adalyn turned 2 yrs old yesterday. I was so bummed it snowed because I was planning on having her party at the park. Mother nature doesn't like to agree with me lately. It was still so fun we just had the party at our house. We had a polka dot party and it turned out so cute!!

Brandon and I don't take pictures of ourselves usually. My sister took this for us. Aren't we cute:)

So I made polka dot cupcakes. I love cupcakes and the frosting was so good.

BIRTHDAY GIRL !!!

Easter was so fun. On Saturday we went with Brandon's mom to Wheeler Farm and did a Easter egg hunt. The girls loved it and it was really fun. I wish it was a little warmer. Then we went to Gateway and ate lunch and went and saw the movie Rio. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it. My girls loved it. Then on Sunday we went to Brandon's mom house and had a awesome dinner and had another Easter egg hunt with all the cousins. It was a fun filled weekend.

We saw the Easter Bunny. Kenna was not so happy but at least we got a picture. Adalyn was screaming because she did not like the bunny.

The Easter Bunny came on Sunday while we were at church. The Easter Bunny was to tired the night before. So he left us a note saying if we went to church he would come while we were gone. It was an awesome bribe to have all through church:)

I'm so glad that birthday's are done for a little while and we can relax a little bit. Hopefully Spring is finally here and we can enjoy the nice weather.

Brandon has been out of town a lot lately. So I have been a single parent I feel like.But he is done traveling :) I did love having the bed to myself. So I tried to stay busy so my girls would not drive me crazy. We have had fun going to the mall,and going to build a bear. The girls loved it! And of course we went to the park a lot when it was nice outside. Adalyn is totally potty trained. Which is great but she loves to go in public restrooms. So you can imagine when I go somewhere I stop at every bathroom. She is almost two. Her birthday is on April 30th. We are having a polka dot party. I have had so much fun planning it. You know I love polka dots! Kenna is getting so smart, too smart sometimes. She is still in preschool and dance. She a recital coming up next month. Her dance is to "we all live in a yellow submarine". So I hear that song everyday. She loves to play with her friends. Luckily we have awesome neighbors so she just plays all the time. Brandon and I are the same just being parents. He is working really hard. We have been trying to get out of debt. We are finally getting there but it has taken a lot of hard work. But I am so excited to be done with it.

Adalyn decided to dress herself. She loves boots she always has them on.

Build A Bear was so fun. I really had so much fun doing it with them. They also had a blast!

I was trying to get a picture of Addi for her birthday card but of course we had to do a photo shoot.

Thank goodness for Dino Land this winter. We went so much my girls love the mall already. They always ask if we are going to the mall today.

We are really excited for Easter and Adalyn's birthday. So I should have some cute pictures for my next post.

Potty Training

So Adalyn has decided to potty train herself. Which is great because I hate doing it. She was doing so great then she decided that it wasn't so cool anymore. So I bought her some cute little panties and that was cool for like a day but she's over it. So we will see what happens. At least she loves to sit on the potty.

Here are some pictures from when I taught preschool at my house a few weeks ago. It was fun but man I'm glad I am not a preschool teacher. I don't think I could do that everyday:)

Kenna went to a birthday party and came home with all this dress up stuff. She had so much fun she played dress up all day long.

So that's what we have been up to. We have been loving the few days of warn weather and are looking forward to warmer days. I do love that the time change. My girls sleep till 7:30 am now. I love it !!

McKenna turned 4 yrs old on Feb.6! We had a kids party and then a family party. She got totally spoiled. She chose to do a Tangled birthday. So for her friend party they came and we played pin the frying pan on Flynn. ( if you have seen the movie this will all make sense) I made a salon in my kitchen for them called Tangled Salon. I made a really cute sign that I am proud of. So they came and got there hair done and their nails and got a Tangled tattoo put on there arm. It was really fun. Then that night the family came and we had pizza and more cake. By the way I have eaten so much cake this week I think I've gained ten pounds. It was really fun!!

Brandon and I bought her a Rapunzel dress. She was so excited she loved it!!

Kenna also started preschool. She loves it and gets so excited to go. This is her her first day.She looks forward to it. One night she wouldn't go to sleep because she was excited. It so fun for her to go to school with all her friends.

So remember I said I would do better this year with blogging so here we go. I hate January I always have its just a cold yucky month. So I am so ready for February to come. So here are some cute pictures I finally downloaded off my phone........

We hardly have any pictures of us now days so I had to post at least one of me and my cute husband!

Both my girls got so sick this month. They both had croup.Kenna has never been so sick it was so sad.It was a long two weeks.

Kenna decided to put on all my snow stuff on one day. It was great she was etertained for like and hour. She thought she was pretty tough.

Kenna became a sunbeam this year. She was so excited and loves to go to church because she gets to go to primary.

So these were my dance clothes when I was little. It was like Christmas to my girls that had so much fun!!

Febuaray is a very fun month in our house. Kenna turns 4 yrs old on Feb.6! She is so excited and has been counting down the days for a week already. She is having a Tangled birthday party so that will be my next post.

Happy New Year!!
Hope everyone had a great holiday season. We had a great Christmas the girls got totally spolied. Kenna was so into everything this year with Santa. We wrote him letters and tracked him coming to our house. Adalyn just wanted to do everything Kenna was doing. It was great to spend time with the family. For Christmas this year my parents took us snowmobiling and it was so fun. Even though I'm getting older I turn into a kid on the snowmobile. Brandon's mom watched the girls so we we got a well needed break.

Even though Im not a fan of the cold it was so fun and pretty up there. I loved it. We even saw a moose just out on the mountain.

Sledding was so fun. It's a lot of work i was so tired of climbing up the hill but it was a blast.

Here we all are frezzing our butts off. It was so cold. I get hives when I'm cold and I was covered in them when we got back to the cabin.

My mom made us girls these really cute aprons for Christmas. Aren't we cute all matchy! The girls got some cute tutu's too.
It was such a great year and can't wait to see what 2011 has for us. I'm thankful for my family and for are freinds. Hopefully I will keep up on our blog a little better. No promises though.

It's been a long time sine I have updated my blog. Our computer has been broke for awhile and still is broke. I have tonz of pictures that I will try and do later. We are good my girls keep me very busy. Adalyn is one a climbs on everything. This morning i found her on the kitchen counter eating cookies out of the cookie jar:) McKenna is just growning up so fast and says the funniest things. We are still trying to sell our house and things are great. I will post pictures as soon as I can.

We have loved the weather this week. We have gone to the park every day almost. We are just so excited to play outside. Things have been busy as usally so sorry for not updating for awhile. Adalyn turns one at the end of the month. CRAZY! My baby is turning into a toddler. She is walking and following everything her big sister does. We haven't moved yet we are still waiting to sell our town house. So we are just hanging out. Brandon is just working away at AT&T. We are hoping in a few months his hours will get better but we are so thankful that he has a job. We are hopfully planning a trip to St. Geroge next month if things work out and really enjoy the weather. Other than that I am just a taking care of two crazy kids and loving it:) If anyone want to come play with us let me know.

Disney on Ice

My brother knew Tinkerbell and hooked us up with tickets to Disney on Ice. Brandon couldn't go so I took Kenna and my brother and his wife Kara came. It was so fun! Kenna was so excited and was skipping and jumping. Plus I got to turn into a little kid too. We saw princess Tiana and Cinderella before the show. The show was awesome it was so fun!!!

The girls and I went to Mesquite with my family this weekend. It was heaven 70 degrees, palm trees and a pool. Let just say I was one happy girl. Kenna wanted to go swimming all the time, and Addi just loved crawling and playing in the grass. It was fun. My sister and i even got to have a shopping day that was of course a blast. It was so sad Brandon couldn't come. We missed him especially Kenna. It gave a spring fever bad so the weather better work with us and bring some sunny days soon:)

McKenna is now three! She had a great birthday and got spoiled:) We had a princess and the frog party. It was so much fun Adalyn loved eating the wrapping paper. She was so excited when I brought out the cupcakes it was so fun. I can't believe I have a three year old. Other than that we are waiting for spring to come so we can go outside and play. I can't wait to go to the park and go swimming again.

I finally have time to update my blog. We had a wonderful Christmas. The girls got spolied and it was so nice to spent time with family and friends. Kenna cracked her head open right before Cristmas and had 7 staples put in her head. It was so hard for me to watch and take care of her but she is all better and so full of energy. She started dance again and loves it. Adalyn is crawling and pulling her self up on everything. She is everywhere and wants to do everyting Kenna does. She still has no teeth but I hope that they are coming she has all the signs that they are coming. Brandon and I are doing great and love every minute we can spend together and as a family. We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New year!

Holidays

I can't believe the Holidays are here. McKenna is so excited for Santa and has loved putting Christmas up at our house. Which by the way if anyone wants to buy a cute town home our house is for sale. I'm sad to leave but it will be good at least we can have one more Christmas in it. Adalyn has decided that she wants to be a big girl. She stand up holding on to something all by herself, and we are so close to crawling. We have a had so much fun doing holiday stuff and have so much more planned:) Happy holidays everyone!

Halloween A Little Late

I know Halloween has come and gone but I had to post pictures even though I'm a little late. McKenna was Ariel and Adalyn was Cinderella. We are a princess family:) McKenna loved trick or treating. She was running door to door. Thankfully Brandon was with her I just had to push Adalyn. Halloween was a blast. Now we are on to Thanksgiving even though Kenna thinks Christmas is next because everywhere we go she see's Christmas. We were at the mall and Kenna saw them setting up where Santa was going to be. Oh she walked right in and sat in the chair. It's going to be a long two months of "Christmas mom Christmas". Adalyn is sitting up all by her self and has had a bad fever lately that comes and goes. But she is still smiles and is happy.

This month has been so fun and busy. We went to see the witches. McKenna loved that she loves witches. Then we had a family Halloween party at a ranch where my sister's husband works. It was so fun and they let us ride horses and we played games. Then we went to St. George to enjoy the sun one more time before it gets really cold. It was so nice to go get away. The girls loved swimming and Brandon got to watch football and relax. This weekend Kenna finally gets to wear her Ariel costume. She has been waiting all month to wear it. She is so excited to go trick or treating. Adalyn turns 6 months old this week. She is growing so fast. She is almost crawling and can pretty much sit up by her self. We are busy but we always have fun!
